Wiener Opernball - live dabei

Review: The Gift

A friend of mine asked me to write book reviews on books I read. Since I promised myself to read at least 1 book per month, I'll do it. But this novel, of Cecilia Ahern, I read two years ago around Christmas time. Bare with me, it's my first time I do it for myself and not for the school ^^ The Gift is about Lou Suffren , a husband-father-employee. He is the kind of guy who wants to do two things at the same time. While watching his daughter do something, a conversation with a client is running in his mind. Talking with his wife, he is thinking of someone else. And while eating his breakfast, he's already having his lunch. Pretty busy life.Pretty busy person. No time to capture every moment with his family. He doesn't take one step at a time, he is always in a rush. Yes, Lou Suffren loves his family yet his work is also very important to him. One day he meets Gabe, a homeless guy, and his life changes - in all aspects. Family life, and in work. I will end here ...

A different version of Pocahontas

Agowatiha! I totally agree when people tell me that I'm like Pocahontas, and even look like her. haha. Kindhearted, brave and beautiful. Just like me .... not! :))  And this short clip is just a different version of Pocahontas! Simple done ;-) .. So the kids can understand it! =D Funny huh?!

January is .. the best month of the year ... not

Hello!  So everyone knows I'm into studying for the rest of my life. Just kidding. January makes me study every free time I got - and I have plenty. But it seems like my brain can't make use of the new "fuel". I always told my mom that everyone can pass an exam, you just need to study for it. But I realise, that studying is not enough. You need to be passionate about what you're doing. And sometimes to reach your goal, you are obliged to do things you hate doing. That's life. Slowly - like really slowly - I'm getting the hang of it. I am bit worried about my future, but a lot of proverbs and philosophers and everyone else say that I shouldn't invest too much time thinking about my tomorrows, and I have to stop thinking about my past. I have to concentrate on my today, because today I can change, today I have an influence on the happenings and my doings. For the past, it already happened and for tomorrow you have no idea what will happen. Do your ...

favourite song

this has to be my favourite "i-wish-someone-sings-this-to-me" jingle. It is so cute, just the way you expect your boyfriend, best friend, loved one should  treat you. this is too perfect, noone will say that. desperate much? naaah. Everytime I hear the song in the radio, my world stops and goes gaga. I think I go gaga. "When I see your face, there's not a thing I would change 'cause you're amazing just the way you are"  "Uh I know I know when I compliment her she won't believe me" AND I love Bruno Mars, well his songs are so sexy! haaaaay..  majlove<3 ps.: the video is beyond perfect. 100% creative

tumblrING

Once you are into blogging, you want more sites! .. the flow of thoughts. I have another site where my thoughts are typed and remembered. It's funny to read them when you have nothing to do, or at least want to know what you did a year ago. Yes, it's like an online diary (Y).. perfect! if you care, if you are interested - here is the other site, tumblr rocks. (blogspot too) majLove! <3

speaking of cousins

may I present to you: my cousin . I was her babysitter, when I was 6. Thin me, carried bigbaby, which made my parents upset. They said that I would get back-ache at the age of 20. haha but naaaah. they were wrong! She's as crazy as me, if that is even possible. She has more talents than I do .. sometimes I'm thankful for that! .. Reasons, she only knows. hehe. Not yet as confident, as I am - maybe because she doesn't want to be embarassed infront of other people unlike me. When it comes to the bad habits, I don't mind her being compared to me. Maybe it is true. We have different likes, and dislikes. we may be cousins, but it's better not to compare us, though sometimes I see myself in her. (A person who takes school, too easy. She's brainy in subjects, I was dumb. And I'm brainy in subjects, she hates.) I hate comparing, sadly I also say "I WOULD CHOOSE" .. but she's not me. But then again, she has no idea, so I WOULD THINK THAT IT WOULD FIT H...

ReCap

COUSINS are the 1st friends of your life. Cousins are there as childhood friends. No one will ever understand your crazy family like your cousins.. even if you don't talk much lately. aahh that is so true. for some reason you always have this connection even if you havent seen each other for 8 years or so or never met before :) you gotta thank the parents for making you present in stories while your absent in family get togethers! :)) yay! hello blogsters! :) I don't know what is happening to me right now, but I'm feeling like looking back and watch the homevideos. I realise that we have a lot, not from our own family, but from my cousins/uncles etc. Last week I was watching my baptismal in the philippines, and my cousin's first birthday. I honestly did miss a lot of gatherings in the philippines. I was reading my blogs from last year, and I realised that I haven't blogged about my last trip to the philippines, in August 2010. As usual every trip is diffe...

Happy New Year from my family

MAY YOU ALL HAVE A PEACEFUL MMXI!

ANNO MMXI

Starlight, star bright first star I see tonight, wish I may, wish I might have the wish I wish tonight. the view from my parents room. I find this beautiful. So 2k11 is now. I pray for an adventorous 2k11, a blessed and happy year. My family and loved ones, even those who don’t care about me to stay healthy. I want to travel more, so I hope that I can visit some places like: * Nice * San Torini * Rome * London * Berlin * Barcelona I think two of them are realistic and the rest, just a wishful thinking. But today is only January 1 and I have 364 days to go. I really hope and pray that I can bring the Philippines to Vienna. (Well a small part) I am already looking forward for this christmas, and I’m really excited..because… well I dont want to say it, more or less I don't want to spoil it. There's so many months left, that it's not even sure. But I am really hoping and praying it will push through! I’ll even sacrifice my trip to the “yearly” trip to the p...

the last song

the 2010 favourite has to be "The Last Song". A novel written by Nicholas Sparks. I fell in love with the character, I love the plot and I didn't really expect the ending. And the movie. It could have been a better cast, but I guess the movie is that good that I am watching it now for the fifth time. Love it! and just now I'm watching it again! :) YAY!
