Hello Lent Season

As ashwednesday was fast approaching, a week ago I was contemplating what I can sacrifice for 40 days, for the lent season. I knew McDonalds was part of it, since I started fasting it already two times and I suceeded. Nevertheless I still am really "addicted" to McDonalds. So I need to come up with something new. I was really "scared" to let it come out of my mouth what I will fast, since I don't know if I can handle it, if I can face this "challenge". So yesterday, February 17, I had to decide - so I promised to myself and said this time it will be McDonalds, Coca Cola and RICE. McDonalds and Coca Cola is not that hard to fast because my mom doesn't buy Coke for us and I don't get to eat in McDonalds when I am at home (Thanks for NOT having a delivery service) But rice - the 24/7 food for the filipinos, for me has been THE sacrifice I have ever made. The Shack - W. Paul Young

Hello Bloggers! As you all know one of my new years resolution is to finish a book per month. So my January book was " The Shack " by William Paul Young. I know I am a bit late with finishing it, but hey I started only two weeks ago or so! Anyway, this morning 2 am I finished the book. I am really impressed with the book - whether for real or reel. The choice of words, the phrases - quotable quotes. Actually it's a perfect timing. On the same time I am really hooked with the Filipino teleserye " May Bukas pa " which is about to end in two days. Both are based on one topic - believing in and trusting GOD. In the novel it's all about understanding the works of GOD, Jesus and the holy spirit, forgiveness, relationships and acceptance.
