Hello Hello! time check: 10.13 pm
Today was a great day :) .. Since I'm all set to fly to the Philippines soon - I know, all my blogs are related to my vacation and that only show HOW excited I am - I finally decided to get some extra pasalubongs. I was having second thoughts of getting my idols - yikes, sounds weird - a gift, since it is not sure if I can meet them. Haha, so I didn't know if I should prepare for the meeting or not.
Well today, actually yesterday I made to a decision. I NEED TO FIND MUSICBOXES. Why? Because that's Nikki Gils favourite, she's collecting them. And the search had begun.
I know that Vienna is well known for music, dirigents, violin and piano but I didn't know where I can get musicboxes. I found boxes and I saw music - CDs, but not 2in1. So yesterday evening I called up my cousin and asked her if she could come with me and look for a musicbox - she's not that kind of person who says "No" to me. Hehe, anyway so I googled, and googled and googled. At first I had no idea what the german expression for that "gift" was 'cause it is not common. Haha,. After I found out what it is called: "Spieluhr" or "Spieldose". If you translate it one to one to english it is called "Gamewatch" "Gamecase". Anyways, so my cousin and I met up after her class dismissal in Viennas shopping mile "MariahilferStraße". She asked me where exactly I wanted to go .. Well I told her, we simply have to enter each and every shop. First shop - Thalia - a semi bookstore. That was a pretty bad idea, we ended up looking for good books for my long flight and I said if I can't find any musicboxes today, I'll buy books. But God is good =) ... I wasn't really into buying books today - I can't enter that shop without leaving it with a new book - because I left my membership card at home ......... that's what I thought, I didn't look closely - it was just in a different "wallet slot".
Hehe, so we went to the next stop MUELLER. That was fun, I love Hello Kitty and everytime I pay Mueller a visit they have new stuff, again temptations, but my angel in head told me "you're flying to the philippines you can buy there" .. BUT I saw very cheap and cute pushchairs, babystrollers. I have 4 nieces, 2 of them are my inaanaks and yeah that says A LOT. haha! Good thing, the newest family member is TOO young to have a childrens babystroller. Yep, that's why I decided to buy 2 strollers. Fun Fun Fun. I bought 2 on purpose instead of three. I know that my cousin will get mad at me because its only "dag-dag sa kalat" (it makes a lot of mess) haha! Well if my other cousin is too young for the stroller, I'll give it to the other niece (:
Anyway back to music boxes - before that I found magnets too, so "atechingrequest" is solved *wink* I was so disappointed that I couldn't find any musicboxes (I actually prayed for it before I went to dreamland). So I went to the last shop I could think of .. what shop? .. JippiToy - yes TOYSHOP... haha I was really surprised. At first I found really really really cute jewelrymusicboxes with a ballerina or fairy that's turning (?!). All of them were cute, I couldn't decide. I wanted it to be perfect, I asked my cousin - is the color okay? is the fairy cute? the box, does it look "mature" enough?, so after 90 mins of discussing and yeah discussing (this is true) and tiring arms because of the two strollers, we wanted to pay and leave the shop. And AS SOON as I went over to the cashier I found it, I found what I actually had in mind. A piano musicbox with a dancing balletdancer on top .. well that's on the description haha! it's really cute. and my cousin told me I should get that because Nikki plays the piano aswell, and it is at least vienna related. The name "mozart" is engraved =p . But the balletdancer was missing. Haha, so I asked the Customer Care guy if they got other boxes. He said it was the last piece but he said that the other shop in the first district had still got 6 of them. So my cousin and I rushed to the other store and we bought it. HAHA! .. And it is really cute =) .. I like it :p and it looks unique =D Well I hope it is unique...
So here it is: When the music is playing the ballet dancer is dancing to the tune, well actually it is only turning around haha! And I have to thank my cousin (whom I treated at McDonalds, but she ONLY asked for a cheeseburger and I later found out that she was shy to tell me what she wanted haha that's what I call COUSIN) and of course GOD for giving me the patience to look and look and look and look for that gift (= So if I can't give it to Nikki, thaann .. .. I dont know haha. I will laugh if she tells me that she already has that kind of musicbox >.<. May I add right after our late lunch we went to H&M and we bought a super nice body for my inaanak - it's a Hello Kitty it is cute - so I nearly got all pasalubongs. Some chocolate and few magnets missing and I'm done =P
And for Billy? haha! .. A tshirt woot! I know he loves toys and danggit + rice, but I can't buy him toys since I don't know what kind of toys :p hahaha! ..
it fits to him :D I hope :p that TShirt is dope... iyaaah!
